Very Rare
Very Rare is a documentary short about what happens when the side effects of medications meant to cure us instead take over our lives. Filmmaker Megan Hattie Stahl documents her partner Nate’s struggle when an adverse reaction to a common fluoroquinolone antibiotic leaves him with nerve pain, tendonitis and anxiety. Very Rare follows a personal journey experimenting with myriad supplements and black market self-injections, ultimately discovering an online community of fellow “floxies”.
