Versus Mode is a culmination of my journey so far into the realm of movie making. I had set out to make something that encompassed everything I love about storytelling; be it film, theater, video games, or books: larger-than-life characters, waggish dialog, fantastical action, and a very human story at its heart.

This movie is very much an evolution of my first foray into feature-length narrative, which was my college film, Level Up. Both these films were built on the premise of telling a very simple, down-to-earth story wrapped up in the glitz and dazzle of many different genres (achieved with the premise of characters interacting in the worlds of video games). While Level Up was a shaky first step into this particular world, Versus Mode benefits from over 5 years of experience of my own as well as the decades of combined experience of my extraordinarily talented production team, without whom this movie never would have been made.
