Vergnacco - the village that is no more
Vergnacco was a small village in Istria, today a Croatian territory, once full of life and now completely abandoned.
Giuseppe and Nino, born and raised there, tell us of an ancient and archaic world, marked by the tragedies of the Second World War and by the post-war exodus. Despite the difficult historical period, the two characters tell us their story in a delicate and sometimes ironic way.
