Veemsen Lama is a Nepalese filmmaker and YouTuber based in London who started his journey of telling stories from being front line soldier. After serving some time in the British Army he wants to tell the stories of his community and social issues in order to inspire, educate, communicate and to give positive message and to help others. He has won numerous international awards from his short films MAYA and CHYANTI about social issues in Nepalese community. He has also directed many Nepalese and British short films amongst which APARTMENT 41 went viral with 3.6 million views plus on YouTube. His debut feature film KATHAPUTALI “The Puppet” was recently shot in Kathmandu and is a psychological and supernatural horror, thriller.
