Vapors In The Wind
Oooh. Oooh. Oooh.
I found your letter in a drawer, I hid it long ago
Like an old sweater, I just never seemed to let it go
When the memories are few, all we should do is move on
Chorus:
Don’t you wonder bout the ones we knew
And what it may have been?
All the threads that once connected us grow thin
and the things we thought were perfect
We’re just vapors in the wind
But this is now and that was surely then.
Sometimes it’s better not to speak the things we’d like to say
Imaginations often lead us on an empty chase
Can we see when it’s dark? Only in part til the sun
<Chorus>
Bridge:
The road we may have started on has many twists and turns
And all along the path we’re here to learn
Seasons come and go, we have her to know
Memories fade to vapors in the wind.
Oooh oooh oooh
