Is a Haitian born and raised writer and director. She is 1 of 8 filmmakers selected for the AFI DWW+ Class of 2024. Her films fuse bold aesthetics and a relentless filter for authenticity to tell stories grounded in reality with characters who defy the odds by way of magic, perseverance or straight up hustle.
Her debut narrative short Catching Spirits, won the Jury Award Live Action Short at the New Hampshire Film Festival 2022, making it Oscar eligible. Only halfway through its festival run, the film is an official selection of 15 other Academy qualifying film festivals. It's broad appeal has seen it programmed as a drama, a genre-bender and a dance thriller, alongside the most talked about shorts of 2022.
Her work in the brand space has influenced a category of storytelling that continues to permeate digital culture today, including campaigns for Vaseline, Samsung, Levi’s, Estée Lauder, and Walmart. Her music video for Run The Jewels "Ooh-La-La" was nominated for the 2020 MVPA, UKMVA and the 2021 Libera awards and her commercials have crossed platforms from television to digital spaces.
