Van Gogh
Most replicas of famous oil painting are produced in an urban village in China. The industry is formed by several masters and some proteges of them. Most of them are just parts of the assembly line, however, some of them are finding their ways to true art. But art, is never an easy-to-catch substance.

Ricky Chow is a young, dedicated creator in the film industry in China.
During his university career in Hong Kong, he attempted to find a unique style of visual art, that eventually end up in optics.
He's enthusiastic about flaws of vintage lenses, which he believes will provide peculiar visual experiences to the audience, thus to achieve a better storytelling result.
For years, Ricky helps the film industry with his special optical effects, not only to producers but also equipment manufacturers.
Although he has no publicly featured production yet, Ricky has helped a lot of productions behind the scenes.
Now, he's ready to the front of the stage.
Arts are interlinked. I've been finding my way to perform art for years, and for sure, the process is full of thistles and thorns.
My mom loves art too, with a more chilling way. She likes oil painting, the result may not be extraodinary but she enjoys the process.
One day, when I was in the shower, a young boy with a brush accidentally went into my mind. And for no reason, I decided to write a story for him.
I wrote a lot of stories and filmed several short clips, but this was my first time trying to complete a proper featured one.
I tried to let the boy speak for myself, so I put thistles and thorns to him on purpose.
It was hard to complete everything with my own, especially when I set myself an extremely low budget.
I might overestimated myself, I have to admit. When I watch this short film today, I can easily point out dozens of flaws that can be improved.
But, like my favorite lens, the Meopta 50mm F1.0, flaws are arts as well.
Art is not perfection, I believe, art is full of flaws which are just happen to be beautiful.
