We are "Notenemosnombre" or also Laura Delgado and Eduardo Rodriguez, two friends who work in advertising who are passionate about storytelling and animation.
In the confinement of the global pandemic of Covid-19 we decided to start studying 3D in a self-taught way.
9 months later "Vals & Rumba" is born, our first animated short.
Step by step.
We have learned a little more about modeling, sculpting, hair, textile patterns, materials, lights, post-production, body paint, sound ... And most importantly, we have learned that we still know just a little.
We continue as always, having fun while we study, well... not constantly. Because as always, something that was going to be simpler with just a couple of characters, has become progressively, a story of statues, paintings and vacuum cleaner robots. And that’s our daily life: if we can complicate something, we complicate it.
6 months, 10,080 frames and 1,200 hours after of rendering, "Vals & Rumba" emerges, a more classic movie than "El Encuentro", in which Degas and his ballet dancers have influenced us to create a story about a statue that dreams, and "Rumba", a very special robot cleaner that works in the museum.
We hope you like it. We are very excited, and we will continue learning and fulfilling our dream.
