RED CARPET: 4:00 p.m.
SHOWTIME: 5:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m.

Introduction/Competitive Films: 5:00pm to 7:25 pm(5:00 - 5:25 introduction) (intermission), should be a total of 36 films, intermission shall be 15 minutes

Introduction/Non-competitive Films: 7:40 pm to 9:15 pm, should be 6-8 films at least

MVRP Tribute/Award Ceremony: 9:25 to 9:50 pm

This festival showcases the short films of CUNY students on the big screen through a 4K projector, before an audience of hundreds of people and a panel of industry professionals. Films submitted by BMCC students particularly are eligible to win awards including Best Screenplay, Best Documentary, and Best Narrative Film.

The festival takes place at BMCC's Theatre 1, which is also home to the prestigious TriBeCa Film Festival.

- The Michael Vincent Rosen-Pipitone Award (awarded specifically to a hard-working Video Production Club member, in memory of Michael for his hard work.)

All CUNY STUDENTS can submit work. However, in order for the film to be eligible for awards at least one of the above-the-line members (producer, director, screenwriter, or talent) must be a BMCC STUDENT.

Films must NOT have played at a previous BMCC Student Film Festival.
Films must have been completed within ONE(1) year of screening.
Films must be less than ten (10) minutes in length.

    I was not even notified by email that my film was selected and still no idea in what category! Therefore, I have no idea about this festival other that communication is not their strong side.
