Director Statement

Palmmy's motivation about "Void" derived from her believe in the capabilities of animation as a medium to visualise the invisible. Void address to domestic violence, a universal societal issue that leaves lasting emotional scars for those around it.

However, while we're aware of the direct victims like the abused partner, we often overlook the unseen victims like the children who witnessed the violence acts. These children are often seen to the public as the victim's child, the witness, not the victim themselves. Void aims to use the ability of animation in making the invisible visible as a platform for these unseen victims to be seen.
