Troy is a 28 year old British filmmaker from London. He studied film and television production at college and graduated with a degree in Film at Falmouth University. Ever since finishing school he knew he wanted to work in the film industry.
Troy began writing Vipers right after finishing university in 2018. While working on music videos and directing TV commercials, he saved enough to mostly self-fund the film. Currently, he's involved in small freelance productions and is seeking investors to support his next project.
For Vipers, my narrative inspiration comes from films like
Pusher, with its raw portrayal of crime and desperation, and Christine, which dives into the psychological unravelling of its protagonist. Stylistically, I'm influenced by the minimalist yet intense approach of Following, as well as the sleek, genre-bending aesthetic of The Guest. These films shape the tone and visual language I'm striving for in Vipers.
