EMILIO REYES BASSAIL (1987) is a Mexican filmmaker and sound artist. His work
revolves around the questions of memory and time. Constantly experimenting
with different mediums and forms, his body of work comprises of radio pieces,
video art, film, experimental literature, sound installations, illustration and
music.
His work has been showcased in international film festivals like the FICUNAM,
DOCSDF, Kansk IFF Siberia, Metahouse Phom Penh, Cologne OFF, Bogota Shorts,
and at art spaces like the EYE FILM INSTITUTE (AMS), MUAC (CDMX), MUJAM (CDMX), ADA (CDMX) and the Aferro Gallery (NJ).
