Director Biography - Maximillian Aguiar

Howdy there!

My name is Maximillian Aguiar and I'm a filmmaker, comedian and editor from the wild west of Denver, Colorado. In December 2019, after years of making short skits and videos my first feature film "THE DOORS BETWEEN US" was released at the Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake in Denver for a midnight screening. It has since been accepted to festivals in 14 different countries and was scheduled for another week of midnight theater runs during April before COVID-19

As "DOORS" festival rounds come to a close I am hard at work editing my second feature film VENEER which will be hitting the festival circuit January of 2021.

I love being able to collaborate with other creative people and have had so much fun being just a small part of the festivals across the world. I am also the co-founder of the art collective Janky Jank Productions, you can take a look at our stuff on jankyjank.com
