Piergiorgio Salciarini was born in Gubbio, Italy, on 27/08/1990. As a boy he approaches art by attending the State Art Institute of Gubbio. In particular he is struck by the seventh art, by its ability to make real stories, tales and emotions. He studied at the University for Foreigners of Perugia, graduating in Advertising Communication in 2016 with a degree thesis on "Stanley Kubrick. From photography to cinema". Four days after graduation, he moved to England, obtaining, with a year of study, the Certificate of Higher Education in Film Production, Visual Effects and Postproduction, focusing in particular on scriptwriting and directing. He returns to Italy in the following year, writing screenplays for short films and feature films. In 2021 he made his first short film together with Michele Manual, VEKIGU which wants to tell the anguish and claustrophibia, lived during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, through the nightmare.
