VECTION

VECTION is an experimental short film created by Mia Todd as part of the Spring 2021 First Year Studio at The UNC Charlotte School of Architecture. Filmed on the LYNX Blue Line in Charlotte, NC, VECTION seeks to address human themes of motion, visual illusion (vection), and disorientation through the context of the train car and the people within it.

Director Biography - Mia Todd

Mia Todd is a native of Wilmington, North Carolina currently studying architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Throughout her studies she has taken special interest in language and cultural studies, graphics, and filmmaking. Mia believes in a holistic design process, often drawing inspiration and technique from activities not traditionally associated with architecture.
