An observational short documentary on Greek patriarchal society, focusing on everyday rituals that shape stereotypical male identities. Through the phenomenology of a men’s coterie of various ages in a barber shop in a small town, the film comments on today’s social reality, leaving the final interpretation to the viewers.

Constantinos Diamantis holds an MA in Visual & Media Anthropology from FU Berlin. He works in the field of anthropology and cultural production. He is a PhD and teaching fellow on documentary practices at the Department of Culture, Creative Media and Industries at the University of Thessaly.
