Welcome to the 14th annual "Utah International Film Festival"

More talent than a room full of Oscars hopefuls.
More lens flare than a JJ Abrams film.
More timeless films than a defunct Blockbusters.

Hyperbole may be funny, but the Utah International Film Festival and/or Utah Film Festival (UIFF and/or UFF) is no joke.

Our mission is to Impact, Inspire, Create and Innovate.

Filmmakers and film enthusiasts gather to see the burgeoning talent regionally, internationally through the art of cinema. In addition to film screenings, workshops and a screenplay competition Utah International Film Festival presents numerous network opportunities and social events such as our filmmakers breakfast, Roller Skating Party, Masquerade Ball, and VIP dinner.

It was only a matter of time before film festivals in Utah became a global epicenter, and the Utah International Film Festival is one of the most reputed in the film industry. Including of all genres for International Filmmakers and Screenwriters, dedicated to Feature & Short Films, Documentaries, Animations, Series, Music Videos and many more.

From humble beginning in 2010, the Utah International Film Festival have risen to become one of Utah’s premiere film festivals and award shows.

While boasting legends in the industry like Oscar Nominee Taylor Sheridan (Hell or High Water), Sean Astin (Lord Of The Rings), Lauren Lapkus (Jurassic World, Orange is the New Black, Blended) Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite, Blades of Glory), the Utah International Film Festival have managed to maintain the personal, intimate networking opportunity it has always been.

You decide what you’ll get out of it, when you submit your film and come to the Utah International Film Festival.

Will you meet your film’s next investor, a distribution company looking for a finished film, a production company looking to option scripts, a casting director looking to hire new talent, producers/directors looking to hire crew, or advertising agencies looking to hire production companies for commercial work.

The opportunity at the Utah International Film Festival is, like Spiderman movie reboots or Red Robin’s fries, endless.

Industry veterans, extraordinary filmmakers, and top-shelf enthusiasts are coming together in such a way that makes it hard to leave…sounds like the right party to be at.

Your film belongs in The Utah International Film Festival.

Annually the festival concludes a closing night awards show presentation and reception.

Previous seasons included cash prizes such as:

  • This is my third time being featured in the festival and every time it becomes more special. Warren and Dora take great care in learning everyone's name and they do a great job remembering it even (a skill I don't have). They're not afraid to speak to you directly and are constantly striving to make every year better. This is a festival that is on my MUST list and I'll always submit so long as I have something to submit. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
