Director Statement

DIRECTION NOTE
I have been preoccupied for some time with the question of how I can become involved in political events. The opaque state institutions put me off early on, so that simple, ideologically influenced ideas often seemed to be the only option. Although this was never a real option for me, the will to change something and to take responsibility remained. The main character's frustration is a symbol of my own aberrations through young adult life. Interestingly enough,
how this enormous energy potential can do justice to the inner sense of responsibility and what could go wrong with it.
The important debate about the consequences of extremism and whether
the end justifies the means when it comes to fighting populism, I was clearly missing out on the Strache video in the coverage. It is my wish and goal to initiate this debate.
