Hands down one of the best Film Festivals that I've been to. Not only are the coordinators incredibly friendly, but it was a great environment for the filmmakers. From start to finish, the showcase was extremely fun.

All films screened in a proper DCP format at an AMC movie theater. The DCP was created by the festival, which saved us time and money. My film looked and sounded better than ever during the festival projection. Submitted films were screened all day alongside classics such as Blood Sport and Enter the Dragon.

There were also a ton of seminars with stunt performers, filmmakers, and martial artists. It felt like I was doing more networking at the Urban Action Showcase than all other festivals combined. There were countless opportunities for people to meet at the event itself as well as during the after party. The showcase also had many booths to check out and get autographs signed by legendary martial artists.

Even the award ceremony at the HBO building was well put together. During the ceremony, they played a reel of all the films and it genuinely got me excited to see them in the festival. There was also great food and drinks at the event.

All in all, I highly recommend the Urban Action Showcase. I would still attend even if I didn't have a film playing there. It's totally worth it.

Amazing Festival. Lots of great films showcased and getting to see my film "Mage Hunter" on a theater screen was a wonderful experience. The staff were both helpful and informative, and the general atmosphere was positive!
