Untold tales of the day of blazing glory I Master Rony's Story

Master Roni is a person of the third gender according to gender identity. But the biggest identity he holds is a guerrilla fighter. He took part directly in the liberation war of 1971. Losing his gender identity and freedom fighter’s certificate, he has been hiding for the last 50 years. He has been ‘missing’ or ‘dead’ to his relatives and co-fighters.

The documentary “Untold tales of the day of blazing glory” has collected such substantive and miserable stories of life. The very first life-oriented documentary on the contribution and valor of the third gender in our liberation war has been produced by Shariful Islam Palash.

Director Biography - Shariful Islam Palash

Shariful Islam Palash. Born in Bangladesh in 1985.
He started his career as a journalist in 2003. In his decade and a half of journalistic life, he worked on politics, the rights of backward people including transgender and sex workers, and the liberation war of 1971.
For the first time in his investigation and research, the story of the heroism and contribution of the hijra people in the great liberation war of Bangladesh has come up.
He wants to work as a documentary maker in the future.

Director Statement

We are working to bring up the stories of the rights of transgender people in the ongoing Kovid-19 situation. We want to tell people the story of these warriors. Because no one has brought it up in 50 years.

I am grateful to everyone for this work in one way or another. In the days to come, the cooperation of all, including the media, will help us to unravel new and unknown chapters.

There have been some obstacles in doing these things. The conviction to overcome them and do something new. If there are any errors as a first task, I request you to look at them with an apologetic look.
