Rosaura was born on August 27, 2000 in the city of León Guanajuato. She recently graduated with a degree in communication sciences from the University LaSalle Bajío (August 2018- August 2022) and has a certification in filmmaking from the Mexican Association of Independent Filmmakers (AMCI; 2021-2022) and the International Institute of Film and Acting. (2021-2022)
She worked as assistant of the director of operations and the executive director, as an internship, at the Guanajuato International Film Festival, GIFF (2020 and 2021).
She has made music for shortfilms such as "Voces que importan" directed by Nelly López and made with the support of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, (IMCINE), Netflix and Ambulante; "The underrated" participant in the GIFF university rally; and her own short film "Eleven Days" which is her debut film as a director.
Likewise, she has been a producer and screenwriter in student productions in the cities of León, Gto and Guanajuato, Gto.
Her most recent work "Hasta la Muerte" has been well accepted in the city from local media and Club León fans, consolidating her starting career in filmmaking.
This film tells the story of three professional soccer players from Club León on their way to bringing the team back to the Mexican First Division after 10 years fighting in Second Division, after the promotion, they also gained recognition from the fans and a Double National Championship. "Until Death" explores how this had an impact on the city and Club León fans lives.
This is an inspirational film about how destiny, combined with hard work and discipline, can change lives.
