Director Biography - Danny Bishop

I make genre films with a focus on social issues. Through the lens of horror and science fiction, my characters resist and overcome the power structures which disrupt our sense of community and self.

I’ve directed several short films, and I've written screenplays that have been recognized by the Nicholl Fellowship, Austin Film Festival, Final Draft, and Studio Canal. Working with a relentlessly independent spirit, I make films that push the boundaries of narrative, embrace contemporary tools for visual experimentation, and never adhere to expectations.
