Unsafe Desire. Yasmin Bennani
In this introspective film, a woman steps in front of the camera to share her deeply intimate experiences with interpersonal dynamics. With a calm and self-reflective demeanour, she unfolds her narrative. As she reflects on these encounters, she uncovers a profound realisation that they went beyond mere discomfort, evolving into instances of transitioning from discomfort to manipulation and abuse. The film explores her struggle to express her own desires amidst the violation of her boundaries by others‘ overpowering urges, ultimately depicting the concept of ‚Unsafe Desire.‘
