Director Biography - Andie Dilley

Andie Dilley is a junior Film & Television student at the University of Colorado Denver. She has a background in the arts, participating actively in the music and theater programs during high school. After graduation she discovered her passion for filmmaking and has gone on to direct two award winning shorts, The Weeping and Unorthodox. Most recently she is the director and the production designer for Denim Daze. She appreciates films that are visually unique and hopes to find a career in Production Design.

Director Statement

This film tells the story of a young woman an extremely critical point in her life, making one of the biggest decisions she will ever encounter. Young women are often misrepresented in film as naive and careless, in this film we strived to show that young women can go against the grain and be smart, powerful and strong characters.
