The United States Script Competition started as the Southern Ohio Script Competition in 2016 with a group of friends who loved giving feedback on others scripts. Now in its first year as the United States Script Competition and having taken on a life of its own, the USSC seeks to discover and reward up-and-coming writers and connect them with Directors, Producers, Executive Producers, Agents and Talent around the World.
The United States Script Competition doesn't claim the success of any writer's careers, as we believe they'd be successful with or without us BUT we have helped nearly 2 dozen writers see their project from script to screen which is a reward itself.
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, we have moved our event to an off-site, online event. We hope you understand this decision was difficult to make and we will return bigger and badder than ever in 2022!
