Since 2010, the Union City International Film Festival (UCIFF) has had the dual missions of promoting independent filmmakers from around the world, while supporting marginalized youth through positive development programs.
The UCIFF is held annually, providing a venue through which 60 short films are showcased to advance the work of the involved filmmakers. Attendance has been consistently growing, more than doubling in its four year history.

Awards & Prizes

The UCIFF prides it self in recognizing the work of every filmmaker and rewarding it by showcasing it in it's yearly list of the top 60 entries. At the Union city film fest every film is a winner.

Rules & Terms

Every genre of film is accepted, How ever No PORNOGRAPHY. every submission must be sent in by the Oct 31 deadline and no entry will be accepted after Nov 10th official deadline. Submissions go to the ATT: of Luz Dias UCIFF 550 35th street Union City NJ 07087.

    Poor communication, no updates on screening venues or dates. Laurel design was less than adequate resolution. Still have no idea if my film was ever screened. Do not recommend submitting.
