Underground
Fragment d’histoire future, by Gabriel Tarde, describes a future humanity living in solitude after the extinction of all other forms of life. Refugee from a climatic apocalypse inside the earth, humans find the space for the construction of a playful society, apparently without conflict. Serra d’Aire e Candeeiros caves are profusely inhabited by minute beings, mostly unknown, knowledge advances over this forms of life at the same pace as their environments are put at risk. They also serve as a safe and hiding place for populations in times of war, to store weapons in times of revolution. Subterrâneo was born from these contrasts.
