Underdog

Lin Yu is a young composer. He is hired to compose the theme song for a movie. At the recording studio, he meets his idol Mr. Fei who is a famous musician. As they work together, Lin Yu is very disappointed about Mr. Fei. He even plagiarizes Lin Yu's song. Instead of keeping quiet, Lin Yu decides to stand out and speak for himself. The film director is a musician. The story is based on his past as pursing his musician career. He has composed a lot of music for Chinese movies. He has started composing since he was 19. Sixteen years later, he wants to become a filmmaker. So he goes to study filmmaking in Beijing Film Academy and is about to graduate. This is his first film. The film has been selected by San Francisco New Concept International Film Festival. All the music inside the movie is composed by the director.
