Underdog - L'ultimo caffè

Angelo Giummarra (Italy, 1993) is an Italian director who lives in Bologna. He entered the audiovisual world in 2012, but it was at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania where he began to experiment. In an academic environment, he created QR - Quiet Real (2020), an experimental short film that has participated in several festivals. In 2021, he moved to Bologna where he founded "Ash Gray Film" and is involved in commercial video productions. He is the screenwriter and director of "The Soul of Morocco", a narrative-observational documentary about Morocco. He is also the director of photography for "AD Maiora - storie di resilienza" (2023), a web series consisting of 10 episodes.
In 2024 he worked on a narrative short film called "Vera" as cinematographer (out in november 2024). He is also working on a documentary about the story of one of the last Bolognese farmers of the 20th century.
