NOTE: This festival is still taking place each week despite the COVID-19 virus. All festival dates have been relegated to private screenings with the same Audience FEEDBACK videos made for the short films.

I am really happy with the audience feedback video I received.. First of all, because the audience could understand the feelings that I wanted to convey through my movie and second reason because my animation style also was praised. I am amazed and happy.

FUMFSF fills a hole I felt in every festival I experienced. Most of the time, filmmakers can't attend fests and have no idea how the screening of their movie went even if they have finally been awarded. But here comes the kicker with this fest: the feedback part where viewers tape their thought about your movie and sincerely it was a blast for me. It turned an event kind of hazy cos thousands miles away from where I live to a real experience with real faces. Bravo !

I just love the whole concept of this festival. And then to receive a video with complete strangers giving their thoughts on my film felt like such a gift. Would definitely enter this festival again.

  • This is one of the only film festivals that actual gave something meaningful back. They posted the audience review for my short and for the first time I realized people really liked my worked and understood exactly what I was trying to achieve in the process.

I would really recommend the platform as the way they conduct the festival is very good , also the fact that there’s a discussion on the film and that feedback is shared with the film makers is really inspiring

I admit it was with some trepidation that I watched my video feedback to my movie. To my great relief I found all the comments were intelligent, perceptive, thoughtful and the people commenting heard the message I was trying to convey. They were also tactfully positive. Perhaps they realise that filmakers are artists, and respond much better to encouragement than critisicm. So yes, I have found this process very worthwhile. Thank you.
