For years, I’ve felt the need to explore how family traumas affect new generations. Through this script, I aim to give a voice to those who struggle with wounds that aren’t their own, yet they carry throughout their lives.

This script delves into the cycle of family violence, a theme that still resonates in societies where secrets are often kept in silence. My intention is to invite the audience to reflect on the power of forgiveness and healing.

I have chosen a poetic and visual approach to tell this story, where the internal landscapes of the characters are reflected in the environments they inhabit. The dramatic tone is softened with moments of humor that allow the audience to breathe amidst the emotional intensity.

I hope this film serves as a space for people to reflect on their own cycles of pain and the possibility of breaking free from them. I want the audience to question what healing truly means and how confronting the ghosts of the past can lead to liberation.
