Teresa's career started in Australia where “Blue Chameleon”, her first documentary, was awarded the best director at the California Film Awards 2014. Teresa's second short documentary “I’m Coming Home” screened at Antenna Film Festival 2015 and won a Gold-Remi at World Fest-Houston. After graduating from film school, Teresa worked as a production manager in “Unplanned America” (SBS), “Psychics in The Suburbs” (ABC TV), and as camera operator/assistant on “The Commons” (Stan), “Undercurrent” (Ch7), “Dead Scientists” (Discovery Channel) and TED-ex Australia. Teresa filmed the Vietnamese episode of “Aussie Dispatch COVID-19” broadcasted as interstitials on ABC Australia and ABC Australia iView. In 2020 she directed, shot and edited the documentary series "Through Their Eyes" purchased by Qantas (inflight entertainment) and DocPlay. Teresa has directed, filmed and edited short documentaries for animal protection organisations such as Fight Dog Meat and Animals Asia in Vietnam, as well as worked as main camera on a couple of documentary episodes for VICE (in production). Teresa's first long documentary “Mother Crocodile” received development funding from the ABC followed by a successful crowdfunding campaign. Three years in the making, Mother Crocodile is now in post production.
