Jeremy Ray Taylor is best known for his role of “Ben" in the hit film It. Of his performance USA Today wrote, “The cast of mostly unknowns is spectacular; Taylor is especially effective with a performance that touches the soul,” and The Verge said, “Jeremy Ray Taylor is a particular standout-as the smart, fat kid with a crush, he’s surprisingly tender and nuanced.” Taylor and his cast mates won the MTV Movie + TV Award for Best On-Screen Team and he was also nominated alongside his co-star Sophia Lillis for a Teen Choice Award, Choice Movie Ship. Taylor also gained a following starring opposite James Corden on the reality/mockumentary series “James Corden’s Next James Corden” which won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. Jeremy recently was seen in It: Chapter 2 and Nickelodeon’s reboot of "Are You Afraid of the Dark.” Most recently he was behind the camera as the director and producer of the short film Unarmed Divide, through his production company Sling and Stone Films.

Taylor was born and raised in Bluff City, TN. He began his acting career at the age of 8 and has worked with some amazing lead men such as Harrison Ford and Paul Rudd. Taylor has the unique ability to successfully transition from comedy to drama and he loves stretching himself and pushing his acting skills to the next level with every opportunity that comes his way.
