U SOLI - PUNKREAS
"U-Soli" deals with a current topic and comes from a simple, instinctive, perhaps banal reflection made by the Punkreas "parents" who bring their children to school every day. They live in the Milan province and their children's best friends are from all countries: children and teenagers who attend the same schools, do the same sports, watch the same programs, read the same comics and make the same stickers collection.
Video idea is simply to show the faces of these children to those people who are not "lucky enough" to be able to observe them closely, every day, all together. Some of protagonists are kids who grew up in wonderful realities, where keywords are welcome and integration. One is Castello Cabiaglio, a small community in Varese province, a small happy island that has a long tradition of attention to social issues. An other is Ce.Sto association, born more than 30 years ago that, among the various activities, gives life to a Social Center, which soon became an educational place of reference for children and young people in the historic center of Genoa.
To realize how anachronistic and stupid it is to want to create differences and divisions it will be enough to look these guys in the eyes. "U-Soli" is not just a video clip or a song but a real awareness campaign on the topic of Ius Soli. The children who sing the song have many different origins: Senegal, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, China, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, the United States, Ecuador, Brazil, Santo Domingo, Romania, Moldavia and Albania but we would like to consider everybody in our Italian family.

My name is Paolo Santamaria, born in 1990, a cinema lover. After graduation in high school I received my diploma in directing and filmmaking at the National Film School - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (http://www.fondazionecsc.it). My productions range from documentary to advertising, from music video production to videomapping.
I have the honor to collaborate often with Mibac (http://www.beniculturali.it). I realixzed communication campaigns such as “L’ARTE TI SOMIGLIA”, “IO LEGGO E TU?”, "ART BONUS", "YEAR OF ITALIAN FOOD" and various projects concerning the single museum poles.
In the current year I also had pleasure to create a video coorporate for SIAE group concerning the stratified territorial Network. I have collaborated with various national and international brands / foundations such as Urban Vision, LeBebé jewelry, MAXXI, SkY, RomaEuropa Festival, S&T Med, San Pellegrino, ACI and others.

Mi chiamo Paolo Santamaria, classe ’90, da sempre appassionato di cinema. Dopo la maturità scientifica ho conseguito presso la Scuola Nazionale di Cinema - Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (http://www.fondazionecsc.it) il diploma in Regia e Filmmaking. Le mie produzioni spaziano dal documentario all’advertising, dalla videoproduzione musicale al videomapping.
