The U.S. Drone Film Festival is a platform where cinematographers, builders, flyers, academia and interested individuals will have networking opportunities and have a chance to hear the latest developments from industry experts.

The film festival's new date is September 7, 2019.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Note: US Drone Film Festival does not waive entry fees as we believe waiving entry fees hurts the integrity of the competition. The same rules and entry fees should apply to all applicants. US Drone Film Festival also does not invite films to be in competition. Films have to be submitted through Filmfreeway.com for consideration.

General Rules:

All films must be:

-5 minutes or under
-must be shot by drones at least %50
-must be submitted on/before March 1, 2019
-Films with U.S. distribution (obtained prior to being selected for US Drone Film Festival screening) or films produced, financed or initiated by a major film studio or television network are ineligible for competition but may be considered for a special screening.
-Films that have screened on US network or cable television or distributed to theaters prior to the festival dates are also ineligible for competition.
-We do not accept works-in-progress and will not update a submission with a more recent cut (except minor post-production additions).
