UP TO US
As we all know covid-19 became a huge pandemic around the hole world spreading chaos and instigating people to create new ways to survive the virus. In Brazil two brothers, Thiago and Alexandre Firmino, from Santa Marta Community in Rio de Janeiro created a project to help clean the community and protect their people from the virus. Without any help from the state government Thiago and Alexandre gathered a group of friends and volunteers to clean the community every weekend, distribut masks, give free covid tests and warn the neighbors the importance of the project. In this film Thiago, Alexandre and some of the volunteers tell us how it is to live in a abandoned community during a pandic, how the government has neglected the virus and basic sanitation rights, and the impact covid-19 had in all of our lives.
