Director Biography - Henning Westerwelle

Henning Westerwelle, born in Herford in 1981, founded the digital agency Curious Company® GmbH in Hamburg in 2020. Henning is a curious mind in a "Curious Company".
His eyes always open to find new trends and technologies in the field of digital immersive experiences.

After various positions in film, TV, post-production and visual effects in Munich and Berlin, he moved to Hamburg in 2007, where he worked as a producer for commercial VFX and 3D animation. There he managed the studio INFECTED GmbH with nearly 40 creatives and project managers from 2016 to 2020. He has 17 years of experience in computer generated imagery, visual effects, 3D, realtime gaming engines, postproduction, conception and project management.

The Curious Company is a digital agency for immersive brand communication with an associated XR Studio. With their full-service offering, the creative and technology experts support innovative brands and companies through all phases of the creative process, from ideation and consulting to conceptualization and prototyping to the production of captivating, attention-grabbing brand experiences.

"It's the things we don't know yet that take us further. Further than anyone else. Our whole team is constantly learning new things and working with inspiring people to keep our work evolving. Like an evolution into something unique." In 2019, Henning Westerwelle produced the project "Globetrotter - the Virtual Reality Adventure" as Experience Director and won 6 ADC nails, the German Digital Award, the Grand Prix of the Content Marketing Forum, the Flap and the Hamburg VR Award "Next Reality Contest 2020" in the category "Best Installation" with this work.
