Director Statement

This film is deeply personal and driven by one question, 'How to live a healthy life in Egypt?' It's born from my own journey and the profound realization that true health is more than just a fleeting diet or a sculpted physique. It's a fundamental way of living, a source of lasting joy. I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of a healthy lifestyle, the vibrant energy and boundless happiness it brings. I began to wonder: what if this joy, this vitality, could be accessible to everyone in Egypt? What if, with minimal cost and a shift in perspective, we could unlock a collective well-being? This film is my attempt to capture that possibility, to inspire a movement towards a happier, healthier Egypt, one person at a time, through an experimental journey that will visually and medically track a real transformation, where we will witness the struggle to maintain a healthy lifestyle against the constant pull of life's temptations. This experiment will focus on a young individual, between the ages of 21 and 30, living in Cairo. His life will mirror the common experiences of many Egyptian youth, making his journey relatable and impactful. The film will also include guidance from experts, offering the 'voice of reason' to support the protagonist's journey while acknowledging the unique challenges that Egyptians face in their pursuit of well-being.
