Director Statement

Typecast is a short that meant a lot to those involved, and I feel anyone who's ever appeared on-screen as an actor can really identify with it. I've had close friends - including those who worked on this project with me - who've felt pigeon-holed as actors during various times throughout their careers. We become known by our previous work, and the ability to branch out becomes lost. Typecast is a film meant to make light of that and appeal to the rebel inside all of us.
