Two neighboring musicians start their routine unaware of each other. A noisy improv session from Aleah inadvertently disrupts the violin practice of Philip. Through acceptance of each other’s perspectives, they can create a harmonious medley.

Director Biography

Brian Phinn is a storyboard artist developing his own voice in the animation industry through promoting goodwill, humor, and classic animation principles. He earned his BFA in Emerging Media-Character Animation at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Brian is also an active member of Women in Animation at UCF. During his undergrad, Brian worked as Foley Lead on the short-animated student film, Snacktime, which has earned several awards in film festivals. Currently, Brian is working on his MFA in Emerging Media-Animation and Visual Effects at UCF where he is finishing his self-directed short-animated student film, Two’s Accompany.

Director Statement

My art reflects my life experiences and personality. Classic Warner Brothers, MGM, and Disney shorts are the greatest influences of my art style. My desire is to one day make animated TV shows for people of all ages, teaching life lessons in an exciting way.
