Visual artist graduated in Graphic Design, Gabi Etinger develops graphic designs and 2D animations with artisanal practices. She illustrated and animated the video clips “Dois Peixinhos” (RXHM) and “Cuna” (Camilla Campos). In addition, the artist follows the cultural scene in Aracaju (SE), creating posters for films
and concerts, music album inserts and publications in general, through Calango Design and Communication (@calangodc). She also held exhibitions showing graphic design experiments — “Xiloanime” (2010) and “Exodus” (2012, in partnership with the photographer Victor Balde) — and has a more intimate production, which has been explored since 2010, with works on
female subjectivity in exhibitions and video: “Wefts” (2010), “Patchwork love” (2013), “My truth is red” (2019) and “Grain” (2020, with soundtrack by Ricardo Vieira). She is part of the collective Letra Curva, alongside Rian Santos and Tiago Oliveira, and together they paste posters in the streets of Aracaju (SE).
She is a designer and publishes visual chronicles on the website Poca Olho. Gabi Etinger was born in 1986 in Aracaju (SE), where she lives and works
