The story of Vincent Almudever (101 years old) and his "little" brother Joseph Almudever (100 years old). Being of French-Spanish origin, they both were resistance fighters against Fascism in the Spanish Civil War and in World War II. After 10 years of odyssey over battlefields and through fascist concentration camps they finally met again.

Director Biography - Daniel Burkholz

Daniel Burkholz, born in Würzburg / Germany, is an award winning filmmaker. He first worked as journalist for newspaper and radio, as editor of a scientific magazine and also as photographer. Later, he worked in the fields of environment protection, education, civil rights, before he became a filmmaker. In 2005, he founded his company Roadside Dokumentarfilm. Since then, he is shooting and producing documentary films for cinema and TV. His films are succesfully presented on many international film festivals around the world
