Turning Arizona Blue

Native American’s vote in Arizona was predominantly democrat and contributed to flipping Arizona blue and granting Joe Biden the victory. Navajo in Arizona expressed a clear opinion of distrust towards the previous administration motivated mainly by the mishandling of the coronavirus crisis that hit their community hard and the fear of seeing their land taken away presidential decree by presidential decree. The reportage is based on a collection of interviews of members of the democratic party of Apache County, Navajo County, and Coconino County explaining in detail how the campaign went door to door in their community facing hardship and risk imposed by the territory and the pandemic. Thanks to these efforts The Navajo Nation managed to secure more than 15 thousand new voters in State won by 10 thousand votes by Joe Biden.
