TuningIn to the Continuum
The essence of 'TuningIn to the Continuum' centers on the axiom 'as above, so below' expressed from the perspective of my mind's eye as I undergo a biofield healing session with tuning forks. I acknowledge moments from my past, and re-patterned them by incorporating layers of intention through movement, sound, and color reflecting and calling forth my higher nature. In this way, dance functions as an intermediary between the manifest physical body and the subtle energy of the universe. The film seeks to honor the intelligence of the universe, and to transport the viewer into an awareness of the continuum of all.

Dance reflects, inspires, questions, teaches, and celebrates life as we live it. As a performer and choreographer, I am interested in creating impressions with the human body in a calculated environment that elicits new moments of curiosity for the audience and the performer. My goal is to honor the intelligence of the universe within me by awakening and honing the tools already within myself to create performance. As a student of dance studies there are many ideas, theories, experiences, practices, as well as decades of dance training rooted deeply within my knowing 'soma' body. Developing my somatic awareness and truly listening to the body and all of its systems, known and unknown, will provide direction in the artistic process. I believe the universe responds to request. By cultivating my observation of the conscious life within me and around me, I work to evoke new experiences by sharing my choreographic voice to its fullest.
