Tulsa

A note about short film Tulsa.

The story of Blacks is an old pain even older than what you think.
A story comes from before creation. Just where the " jinn " did not respect to Man on the basis of arrogance and pride, he considered himself superior to mankind .
From where the creation became acquainted with the new word " racism " , and gradually God, by his emissaries who were the prophet of peace, tried to propagate brotherhood and fraternity on earth, but regrettably, that this generation of arrogance and pride become strong enough that is causing many wars and genocides today.
The short film is the story of a black boy in "Tulsa", a victim of a tragic historical crime that occurs in 1921 in America. This " emotional film " refers to the unfortunate lifestyle of the blacks on earth, as it continues to occur in various ways , and today Man has seen countless images of racist stories .

"Tulsa" is the first film in Iran with the theme of racism specially about black people. Everywhere people may have a kind of racism in them. For example In Iran people do behave different (not respectful) with Afghan People.
This film would like to make more awareness about all kind of racism.

"Tulsa, experienced in the rhythm of the little boy’s breath, and timed by the dry sound of the gunshots tells an episode of racial injustice in the USA, the 1921 killings of African Americans in Oklahoma.
The absence of dialogue seems to be a metaphor of both the unspeakable nature of the killings, and of the silence which continues to reign over many episodes of racial injustice in the US history.
TULSA will hopefully contribute to the much needed action, not just dialogue, in teaching history and coming to terms with it."
