True Justice

TITLE: True Justice

LOGLINE: A city submerged in violence is crying for help but to no avail. A detective who has lost everything, including his family, takes it upon himself to deliver true justice to the unjust.

SUMMARY: The story starts off in 1996. Charlie and Johnny are estranged fraternal twin brothers who were separated at birth. Johnny was adopted at just a few weeks old, and Charlie was raised by their birth mother. When Charlie is 17, in a twist of fate, he moves into the same neighborhood as Johnny. Unannounced to one another that they are brothers, they become friends and stay friends until after high school, when Charlie joins the Marine Corps, and Johnny starts working for the city's most powerful mob boss, Teddy Marchetti.

It is now 2012 and Charlie is a Philadelphia police officer in the 15th District, who, in his spare time, takes it upon himself to deliver true justice to the unjust, building a team of vigilantes, each with their own special set of skills, while Johnny has become the boss's, right-hand man. While in a hot police pursuit, Charlie kills Bobby Marchetti, the brother of Teddy Marchetti, causing Charlie and his entire family to be green-lit.

After Charlie's wife and children are shot in their beds while they sleep by their uncle Johnny, who at the time did not know they were his family, Charlie sets out to end Teddy and does, only to be shot by his own brother. Charlie survives, and fakes his own death, while Johnny takes Teddy's place as the city's most powerful Mob boss.
