COVID-19 diagnosis is no longer challenging; however, proper prognosis of the infection is still perplexing. Scientists identified good prognostic biomarkers of severity and developed a test to predict the severity of COVID-19, which could help clinicians to prioritise patients for bed and ICUs in hospital.
Story revolves around the Delta second wave of COVID-19 in India. Clinicians needed help from scientists to predict which patients need therapeutic interventions and ICUs. However, during the lockdown scientist team encountered the technical challenges. This ONE-SHOT-FILM depicts the scientific journey and indomitable human spirit.

Sanjeeva Srivastava is a scientist and professor of proteomics laboratory at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He is a visiting scientist in Arizona and Seattle, USA and also a visiting faculty in UK. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Alberta, Canada and post-doc from the Harvard Medical School, USA. In addition to his scientific research on proteomics, he is also a scientific filmmaker and have made few documentaries, which has been featured in International film festivals.
