Director Biography - Derek "Hype South" Wade

Born in Houston, TX he spent his childhood in a rough neighborhood resulting in poor decisions, but after altering his life through he birth of his children he reignited a passion for entertainment. Starting off as a music video director, he parlayed that into a podcast host and now filmmaker.

After gaining formal education he sought out local professionals to work under in 2022 and now in 2024 has 2 feature length films under his belt and another in the works.
