The first and only Film Festival of its kind in Southern Italy aims to offer to the Salento community, and beyond, a unique opportunity to learn more about India's multi-faceted culture and the long history of its film production. The festival will be held in the City of Tricase, in the heart of Salento and its cultural center, from 4 to 8 April 2018, at the Principi Gallone Palace in Pisanelli Square, the living room of the City of Tricase.
The TIFF will feature a combination of feature films, short films and documentaries, and a series of special events devoted to Indian culture, including a section dedicated to Indian culinary pleasures, Indian music and traditional dance performances, an ancient tradition closely linked to religious devotion. Yoga, Ayurveda, smells, flavours & colors of India today.

The 1st Annual Indian Film Festival of Tricase will be held April 4 through April 8, 2018 in the City of Tricase, in the heart of Salento, one of Italy's best-kept secrets.
We screen premieres of feature, documentary and short films made in and about the Indian subcontinent or it's people or made by Indians.
TRICASE INDIA FILM FEST (TIFF) RULES
The following terms and conditions govern the submission of IFFT through FilmFreeway for consideration for the Indian Film Festival Tricase 2018
Eligible for the festival are films from India or by filmmakers of Indian descent worldwide irrespective of theme, as well as films by international filmmakers with a prevalent Indian focus. Films must have been completed in 2016 or later, and not had a public screening in Italy and in Apulia Region (South Italy) prior to the festival.
Filmmakers may submit more than one entry. Each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form and entry fee.
Non-English language works must have English subtitles at the time submitted. All Selected films must have English and Italian Subtitles.
Filmmakers must submit an online screener of their film through FilmFreeway, or by providing a link to an external site with any passwords needed to view the film.
The festival is no longer accepting DVDs as a format of submission.
I understand that it is my responsibility to provide a press kit with film stills, trailer, cast & crew information, director’s picture and bio, without which my submission will be considered incomplete and will be under no obligation to be considered by the Selection Committee.
I. SUBMISSION AGREEMENT
1.By submitting a Film to TIFF for Festival consideration, the submitter represents that he or she has obtained consent from any and all owners, creators, writers, producers and/or other authorized representatives of the Film whose consent is required to submit the Film the festival and screen the Film at the Festival, and has read, understood and agreed to the Terms.
II. SUBMISSION CATEGORIES AND ELIGIBILITY
1. Films that do not meet the eligibility requirements for any of the below categories should not be submitted and will not be considered.
2. For the purpose of the below categories, “Indian” films are Films that were directed by a Indian citizen or permanent resident of Italy and list Indian or Italy as one of the countries of production.
3. TIFF prefers that all Feature Films presented are, at minimum, South Italy Premiere or Regional Premiere TIFF will accept submissions that have already premiered in India or outside Italy, but the film’s premiere status will be taken into consideration when final programming decisions are made.
4. A Film will not be eligible for consideration and should not be submitted if the Film was completed prior January, 2016
