Director Biography - Sarah Niles

Sarah is a 4th year student at UC Santa Cruz. She's double majoring in Art and Film with a focus on animation and critical film studies. She's originally from Los Angeles, and identifies as Chicana/mixed race. She hopes to work in animation, and is especially interested in stop-motion and 2D animation.

Director Statement

I primarily work with animation, and enjoy making films that center around memory, childhood, and emotional states of being. My films tend to be experimental, and focus more on the atmosphere created by emotion-driven narratives.
